Our CIO needs to ensure that optimal value is realized from the technology, products and services offered by the company and ensures great
Customer Service channels to support value realization and technology adoption. This individual creates and owns a strategic plan that defines how Technology will contribute and execute the organization’s strategic objectives and to those of current and future stakeholders and the related budget,
costs and risks.
You will create and manage a strategic and tactical plan for technology adoption both internally and externally, supported by a strong leadership team.
• Drive the envisioning, development, testing and reviewing of appropriate and agreed strategic scenarios aligned with the company objectives and mandates
• Realize the vision for digital transformation across the business and establish clear digital transformation metrics
• Stay abreast of industry trends and role players and ensure that the function is well positioned to provide competitive and industry-leading services.
• Identify and engage with strategic role players and stakeholders in the industry to understand changes to technology, regulations, and developments in the markets and lead the business to operate new technologies cost-effectively.
• Build, develop, and lead a cohesive and high-performing team.
• Guide the board and Executive Committee on current technology capabilities and future directions, the opportunities that IT provides, and what the business has to do to capitalise on those opportunities.
• Ensure the agile delivery of digital change and innovation through the technology stack
• Consolidating and shaping an Enterprise Architecture capability to service the group’s business portfolios and technical domains in an efficient and effective manner.
• Collaborate with business to align the enterprise architecture with the current phase of the strategic journey.
• Develop a strategic framework that translates information and data into business intelligence, machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities that adds value to strategic and operational decision making.
• Continuously monitor service levels and implement strategic measures to improve customer experience and overall profitability.
• Explore and develop new customer products and services using enabling technologies or new strategic initiatives
• Optimise and advise clients and stakeholders on how best to create value and realise value from current products and services
• Ensure that all Cyber, security and ISO 27001 processes and procedures are aligned and continuously improved to align with current and future threats.
• A relevant degree in Business Administration and or Information Technology
• Experience in Business Planning and Budgeting
• Customer Service experience and managing strategic relationships
• Programme or Project Management experience
• Market and Fintech knowledge and exposure advantageous
• Strong leadership abilities as your portfolio manages several IT teams
• Excellent Communication Skills (Written, Verbal & Presentation skills)
• Excellent collaboration skills
• A team player
• Willingness to learn, adapt to change quickly and work proactively
• Good understanding of TOGAF and architectural frameworks
• Good understanding of Security
• Solid understanding of Data
• Stakeholder management experience/skills
