Bernice qualified as a chartered accountant after completing her articles at Pricewaterhouse Coopers Inc. in 2005.
She has over 18 years of relevant professional experience. She joined Sanlam Life Insurance Ltd in 2005, initially as finance manager in the financial reporting team and subsequently in the actuarial team. Her latest role for the past nine years has been as corporate finance consultant
in Sanlam Ltd’s mergers and acquisitions team.
Since 2018, Bernice served as trustee on the board of the Sanlam Staff Umbrella Pension and Provident Funds and is currently a member of the Joint Forum of the Sanlam Umbrella Provident Fund for the Sanlam Group.
