By proceeding, you confirm that you bind yourself, or any person whom you represent, to the terms and conditions of the Intermediary Agreement which you may access under the Legal Documents tab.
This facility is for the use of Intermediaries in the Long term Insurance Industry, in the Republic of South Africa and Namibia. In proceeding you declare and warrant that you are registered as an Intermediary with the Financial Services Board in South Africa or in terms of the Namfisa requirements in Namibia.
Process of Registration
This registration process requires that you provide us with a signed debit order instruction, a copy of your identity document, as well as your FSB or Namfisa registration certificates. Once the required documentation has been received, together with any other requirements which Astute may have, you will be activated to use the Astute service. You will be deemed to be bound by all of the terms of the Intermediary Agreement, from the date that you are activated to use this website. These Terms and conditions of Use agreement will be updated from time to time, and you are required to familiarise yourself with the latest version available on the website at all times.
After activation you, or the person you represent, will only be entitled to request information in respect of clients from whom you have obtained written authority to make a request via Astute.
A user with user administrator functionality will be created on completion of the registration process and during this process, the finalisation of the user name and password will take place. You must retain any user name, password or other form of identification provided to you securely. Astute accepts no liability for any use of such user name, password or other form of identification arising from unauthorised use. Any use of your user name, password or other form of identification will be deemed to have been use by you.
Any user who adds other user(s) to the system accepts full responsibility for the transaction information obtained by any such other user(s). Life Offices, Brokerage Groups and any other party who is activated on the System accepts the same responsibility for any user who has access to the system.
Reservation of rights
Astute at all times reserves the right to terminate or restrict any service to you, for any reason whatsoever, at their sole discretion. Astute does not warrant the correctness of any information transmitted to any requester.
Your initial subscription will become payable on registration. Your subsequent monthly subscription, together with fees and/or charges will be payable monthly on your selected statement date for using the facilities available on this website. Only VISA and Master cards are an acceptable means of payment when selecting to pay by means of credit card.
The websites to which this website may be linked are not controlled by Astute, and we are not responsible for the content of those websites. Therefore, we do not necessarily endorse the owners of those linked websites, their products, or the information or software supplied. The previous paragraph relating to no warranties also apply to this paragraph.
