Astute’s Consolidated Client Portfolio (CCP) Annual Technical Forum took place on the 11th of October in Cape Town. This forum is a collaborative technical discussion between Astute and our technical support from our content providers & our financial needs analysis software providers.
Our Consolidated Client Portfolio (CCP) is an engineered data switch service that empowers the financial services industry by allowing consented intermediaries mainly, underwriters and claims department of financial services providers access to their client’s policy information to assist them with the financial needs analysis for their clients.
The Tech-share forum is a collaborative technical discussion between Astute and our technical support from our content providers & our financial needs analysis software providers. Representation at the forum included Old Mutual, Sanlam, Nedbank, Hollard, Discovery, Metropolitan, Allegiance, Iress and AtWork, with an aim is to ensure we maintain a high standard of our data switch service which they support.
Our 2018 theme was Single Integration Point; maximising on the value that integrations provide by ensuring that we are aligned to guarantee the integrity of our service in line with our single portal, single view of the client strategy.
We kick started the forum by sharing Astute’ s annual highlights such as the introduction of Digital Consent, sparking conversation around the importance of the data switch and our continuous goal to ensure that we keep improving on our value proposition as well as highlighted our projects in the pipeline for the next 3 years.
The main discussions for the day were for the technical challenges and opportunities that we plan to address collectively and leverage on, and this is to really strengthen our collaborative efforts. We focused mainly on the work required to address the limitations caused by our data standard (ACORD) in mapping new content provider products, features & benefits; data integrity alignments; rules around 3rd party information (e.g. life assured, policy owner, etc) and ensuring optimal data quality.
Thank you to all stakeholders who partnered with us on this initiative and have expressed their commitment in ensuring that we continue to provide a superior service that addressed our customer needs.
